Information We Collect

Tracking Technology: Quickstore24™  logs IP addresses (a unique number assigned to every computer on the Internet) in order to improve security, analyze trends and administer the Site. We may track your movement within the Site, the pages from which you were referred, access times and browser types. We only use this information in aggregate and do not link it to you personally unless you opt in as a customer. To gauge the effectiveness of our Site, we do collect some generic information about our visitors. Our web servers automatically recognize a visitor's domain name, the web page from which a visitor enters our Site, which pages a visitor visits on our Site, and how much time a visitor spends on each page. We may use anonymous tracking technologies to collect, store and sometimes track information for statistical purposes and to improve the products and services we provide. We aggregate this information and use it to evaluate and improve our Site. We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third party sources for instance to verify your address or update your information and to create a “profile” of your preferences.  We tie your personally identifiable information to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the Site for you.  A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this Site. We use session ID cookies and persistent cookies.  We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file Persistent cookies are used to differentiate subscribers from non-subscribers to customize the content of certain sections of the website and enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Site. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Site, but your ability to use some areas of our Site, such as promotions or surveys, may be limited.

Surveys or Promotions: From time to time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in sweepstakes or other promotions on our Site, which might be sponsored or conducted by a third party.  If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these sweepstakes is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information.  The requested information typically includes contact information. If there is a third party sponsor involved please make sure to review that party’s privacy policy.

Tell-A-Friend: We may from time to time conduct a referral service to introduce people you know to our Site and services. If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our Site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Site. Quickstore24™ stores this information for the purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at Custserv@quickstore24.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

Information Gathered From our ThumbPass™ Program

When you use our ThumbPass™ Program at our Quickstore24™ Machines we will store (1) the 10 digit number you provide which will be your account number and (2) your ThumbPass™ which is created for you based on a scanned picture taken of your thumb at our Quickstore24™ Machines which is not retained or stored. That scan is simultaneously stored solely as a calculation based upon minutiae points from your thumb: a photograph or scan of your thumb or thumbprint is not stored or maintained as an image at any time. Minutiae points are local ridge characteristics that occur at either a ridge bifurcation or a ridge ending on your thumb.  These minutiae points collectively create a signature, which are stored locally on the machine and again in the central database. It is the ThumbPass™ in conjunction with the 10 digit account number you provide that we will store and use to identify you back to your account.

Registration and Authentication:  When you register with us on the Site, you are required to submit an e-mail address (which is your user id for the Site) and password. Additional information may be included in your registration profile such as name, address and billing information. At registration, you are given the opportunity to specify your privacy preferences. As described below, you may change these preferences at any time.

Customer Service Correspondence: We may collect information that identifies you personally when you submit comments, questions or suggestions to our Customer Service department.

This information is aggregated and is not tied to an individual purchase.  Your ThumbPass™ will not be shared with any third parties.
